We’re in an expansive Cancer New Moon cycle that began in conjunction with Jupiter, drawing us on a new 12-month journey to explore new horizons.

July is due to be an unforgettable month — the energy is buzzing, sparkling, electric, and effervescent.

Venus in Gemini, Neptune rx in Aries

Yesterday, July 4, Venus ingressed Gemini, after a conjunction with Uranus at 29+ Taurus, bringing reality checks, wake-up calls, and breakthroughs. With Venus in Gemini till July 30, we face significant choices in relationships, financial, creative, and heart matters. Communication is the key to deepening understanding and connections.

Also, the planet of unconditional love, dreams, magic, and illusions, Neptune stationed retrograde in Aries till December 10, 2025. At best, this is an invitation to awaken from illusions, fill our cups, and immerse in the true inner Self. Neptune can also speak of deception, and the worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves. As it stations retrograde, there’s an unveiling in process — the masks are dropping. Be honest with yourself above all — as Amma says, “lying is dying.”

URANUS IN GEMINI: July 7 till November 7, 2025

Especially since we’re about to face life-altering choices as Uranus ingresses Gemini on July 7, 2025, till November 7, 2025, offering a glimpse into its coming 8-year transit.

Uranus is the awakener and brings unexpected, sudden developments. Gemini is the sign of information, communication, duality, truth, and the mind (among others). Collectively and in our personal lives, expect unexpected, perhaps mind-blowing information, insights, and conversations that reveal another side to a story and forever change our perceptions.

This is also the era of AI —a double-edged sword. There’s no use fighting it, but hopefully we can learn to use it as a tool to enhance our life experience, rather than become slaves to it. (No different from the mind.) At best, Uranus in Gemini can be a stroke of genius, bringing flashes of insight, unexpected communication, happy surprises, romantic and creative breakthroughs, telepathic communication, and enlightening truths.

The truth might not be easy to confront, but it will set us free. And with Venus newly in Gemini, in reality, the truth is sweeter than we think. Also, Mercury is in Leo, suggesting a need for courage, to move beyond the ego, to question our beliefs, to learn a deeper truth. It will require heartfelt communication, accepting we don’t know it all, and admitting where we may have been mistaken.

If unbalanced, Uranus in Gemini could blow hot and cold. Mental health awareness is crucial — pranayama will help quieten and balance the mind. This is an excellent transit to deepen your spiritual practice, especially meditation, chanting, prayer, silence, and silent contemplation. This is an opportunity to be liberated from self-limiting beliefs, perceptions, and the mental cage to experience a greater indivisible truth.

Capricorn Full Moon, Saturn rx in Aries

We’re heading to a historic Capricorn Full Moon — personally and collectively — on July 10, followed by Saturn’s (ruler of Capricorn) retrograde station on July 13, inviting us to re-evaluate our boundaries, goals, ambitions, and re-align with them in the light of what we’re learning — about the world and ourselves.

This lunation also marks Guru Purnima (Full Moon) in the Vedic calendar. At this lunation, we honor, pay our respects, and give thanks to our Gurus, the spiritual masters, and all our teachers, and life is our greatest teacher. With humility and gratitude, we can be open to receiving the grace and blessings being showered on us.

In July, with the Sun (ruler of Leo) and Jupiter in Cancer, we’re swimming in our emotions. With Uranus sparking communication, it would help to process what you’re feeling first. Be intentional, think before you speak, and dare to speak from the heart. And sometimes silence might be the better option. Also, leave room for discovery — we do not have all the information, and the next 8 years are forever changing our understanding of this world.
